Meet the Paytons: antique dealers, time travellers, mystery solvers. All in a day's work.
Gideon Payton didn't just inherit his family's antique business—he inherited a time-travel ensorcellment that lets him pluck treasures straight out of history.
When the Payton brothers—fresh from 1887 and now living in the 21st century—are hired to handle the estate of a late 1960s artist, they stumble into a Cold War mystery of love, betrayal, and disappearance. In 1961, the Berlin Wall tore two brilliant artists apart, trapping a rising star named Dieter in the East while his best friend married his true love in the West. Dieter was never heard from again, but two legendary portraits he painted of his lost love are still out there.
To find the missing masterpieces and solve a decades-old disappearance, Gideon and his brothers must return to Berlin, amidst the tension of the Iron Curtain and fear of the notorious Stasi. But in the deadly heart of divided Berlin, one wrong step in the past could cost them their lives in the present. Are you ready to step back in time?
